About Jamie Campolongo
Jamie Campolongo (Jamie) is a life long Pittsburgh resident.
He began as marketing consultant and Director of Marketing at Yellow Cab in 1991. He was promoted to General Manager in 1993 and President and CEO in 1994.
The company was purchased by Coach USA in 1998, and by Mr. Campolongo in 2003. Veolia Transportation on Demand purchased the company in 2009.
Jamie is internationally know as an expert in the transportation field, and was President of the Pennsylvania Taxicab and Paratransit Association from 1994-2005, and President of the Taxicab, Livery and Paratransit Association in 2005.
Jamie is very involved in the community and serves on the Board of Directors of Camp-Kon-O-Kwee/Spencer, the YMCA, the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership, and Visit Pittsburgh. He also supports numerous organizations both financially and with his time, including the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Juvenile Diabetes Association, Make-a-Wish Foundation and MADD.
Jamie is married and the father of four daughters.
