About Allegheny Chesapeake Physical Therapy

When you walk into any one of Allegheny Chesapeake Physical Therapy’s (ACPT) ten locations, you will probably hear laughter. The fun yet caring atmosphere may have some healing effects on patients or it may make the time more enjoyable.  ACPT employees work as a team to transform negative situations into extraordinary experiences.  Many patients look forward to their appointments at ACPT.  One patient wrote “I can’t wait until I get hurt again!” on his satisfaction survey.  No wonder 100% of Allegheny Chesapeake’s patients will refer a friend or family member.

ACPT is also known as The Get Better Place.  Beyond the laughter and banter, ACPT’s therapists are successful in effectively treating injuries and conditions.  The therapists at ACPT have achieved their doctorates of physical therapy and are focused on innovative and evidence based treatments.  Treatment plans are individualized according to each patient’s needs and personality.  Hands-on treatment is incorporated into each plan.  Therapists and patients work together to set and achieve reachable goals.  Throughout the course of treatment, an open line of communication is maintained between the patient, therapist, and physician.

In addition to physical therapy, ACPT offers many complimentary services from aquatic therapy to occupational therapy.  Patients’ care does not end with the last physical therapy appointment.  ACPT offers a wellness program, which includes personal training and gym memberships.  Your therapist will also check-in with you to follow your progress.

You can always call and talk to a therapist.  You can see a physical therapist any time without a doctor’s referral.  The Pittsburgh area offices also offer free consultations to determine if physical therapy is appropriate.  Choose Allegheny Chesapeake for your physical, occupational, and wellness needs.
