Can the Solution to the Looming Education Bubble Be Found in Trade Schools?
- mp3
- description
As education industry analysts are scrambling to address the potential “bubble” that is beginning to emerge in the “traditional” college education sector, they are assessing the feasibility of alternative educational options. One such option is one that has been around as long as “traditional” college itself, the study of a particular vocational in “trade schools”. As President of one such institution, Rosedale Technical Institute, Dennis Wilke has a front row seat to the situation facing those looking for the most bang for the buck when it comes to entering a tumultuous job market with a degree in your pocket. Dennis talks with The American Entrepreneur Ron Morris about the idea of trade schools such as Rosedale being the haven for those who want an affordable path to a potentially lucrative job market upon graduation.

Who Needs College? Why Trade Schools are Driving the New Economy
- mp3
- description
With the increased emphasis on attaining a college degree in our society comes the growing void in service jobs that remain essential to our economic framework. Where will aspiring electricians, plumbers, and mechanics learn their craft in a society that dictates that you need a degree to succeed? Dennis Wilke also sees this void, and as the president of Rosedale Technical Institute, he’s in a position to do something about it. Dennis joins “The American Entrepreneur” Ron Morris to discuss the importance of trade education, the role that it plays in the overall education industry in the United States, and why, as he puts it, “It’s not about the P.H.D…it’s about the J.O.B.!”
