Dr. Mary T. McKinney is the Director of the Duquesne University SBDC as well as CITRA (Center for International and Regulatory Assistance). Dr. McKinney has over 25 years of experience in Curriculum Development and Training, Marketing, and Management. Dr. McKinney supervises the operations of CITRA and SBDC, which combined, conduct over 100 training events annually, including two large conferences. For the SBDC she supervises the consulting and training of small businesses as well the Global Business Program and Environmental Management Assistance Program. The centers also consult with approximately 850 firms annually.
Dr. McKinney has supervised grants from several state and federal agencies including Pa DCED, US SBA, USAID, USDOJ, USDOC, USDOE, and European Union. In addition to core program funding from Pennsylvania. DCED and US SBA which has reoccurred annually, the most recent grants include USAID TIES Partnership Awards. In October, 2009, the SBDC and CITRA received a USAID three year award (2009-2012) for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency. Dr. McKinney obtained her Ph.D. in Public Administration and MPIA (Master of Public and International Affairs) from the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public and International Affairs.
