Tony Hsieh, Steve Jamison, Matt Ryan

He’s one of the most successful dot.com entrepreneurs of the 21st century, first as the Founder of online advertising portal Link Exchange, and now as the CEO of online shoe retailer Zappos.com.  Now, he just wants people to be happy at work, and he illustrates his path to happiness in his new book, “Delivering Happiness: A Path To Profits, Passion, and Purpose”. Tony Hsieh will talk to Ron about his career, and what it takes to ensure that your people are happy in their roles in your company. Plus, the recent passing of legendary college basketball coach John Wooden has reminded sports fans all around the country of his legacy on the court.  But business leaders around the world have also been impacted by the loss, as many of Wooden’s best-known teachings and principles had applications in the boardroom as well.  Steve Jamison was Wooden’s long time collaborator and co-author on a half dozen books centered around Wooden’s life and business lessons, and he talks with Ron about just what HE has learned from “The Wizard of Westwood”.  And Ron talks with Duquesne University Economics Professor Matt Ryan about Matt’s forecast for the economic impact of the BP oil spill across a variety of sectors.
