For Pennsylvania residents, the emergence of the Marcellus Shale development has proven to be a boon for many, but not without its complexities. To help navigate what had previously been uncharted waters, Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett formed a Marcellus Shale Advisory Commission to assess the economic, environmental, and logistical consequences of this development. To chair this Commission, Governor Corbett tabbed his right hand man, Lieutenant Governor Jim Cawley, who oversaw the project from start to finish. Lt. Governor Cawley joins The American Entrepreneur Ron Morris in studio to discuss the Commission’s report, and the many recommendations the Commission has for managing Marcellus in Pennsylvania.
