How Has the Economy Changed Hiring in the U.S?
As companies, both large and small, continue to dig their way out of the recession, their employment practices have undergone a radical transformation. Longtime executives who were downsized as part of budget cutting have been brought back as independent consultants, saving both salary and social costs. Millenials entering the workforce fresh out of college are finding opportunities to make meaningful immediate contributions to businesses few and far between. As part of “The Solutions 21 Show” on American Entrepreneur Radio, guest host Buddy Hobart of Solutions 21 examines the changing nature of hiring and employment in the U.S., and offers tips for those on both sides of the letter of employment on how to maximize the effectiveness of new hires in the workplace.
