The American Entrepreneur

The Regis Touch: The Man Behind the Growth of Apple, Microsoft and Silicon Valley Returns to TAE!

Regis McKenna, Dave Wilke, Mike Fox

More than just the answer to a popular tech trivia question (“Who designed the Apple logo?”), Regis McKenna’s brilliant marketing strategies were a driving force behind the startup and development of many of the shining stars of the Silicon Valley landscape.  (Apple, Microsoft, Electronic Arts, Intel, AOL, to name a few).  Tabbed by a San Jose newspaper as one of the 100 men who make Silicon Valley what it is today, McKenna’s strategies and ideas are STILL implemented to this day, and much like technology itself, have evolved to meet the changing needs of today’s tech startup.  Regis talks with “The American Entrepreneur” Ron Morris about how companies should market themselves in today’s environment, and throws in a couple of “war stories” about how it was done back in the day.

Also on the show:
