The American Entrepreneur

Running a Business?  Have No Fear!  (Well…Maybe a LITTLE Fear…..)

Dr. Colleen Long, Jack Abriola, Dave Wilke

Ask any entrepreneur what is one of his or her biggest motivators in running a business, and an answer you may get more often than not is fear, specifically fear of failure.  “If my business doesn’t make the cut, what’s going to happen to my employees….my family…..my future?”  But why is this? Dr. Colleen Long, a Los Angeles psychologist, with a special area of focus on entrepreneurs and other business leaders has some ideas on the topic, and she talks with “The American Entrepreneur” Ron Morris about these ideas. Plus, Jack Abriola of the Select Financial Group joins Ron to discuss the succession planning issues that business owners should be considering for the new year.  Also, Dave Wilke of Wilke and Associates devotes an “Ask the Accountant” segment to the Job Creation Tax Relief Act of 2010.
